Online Resources to Help You While Your Kids are Home

One thing I love watching is the creativity that is emerging during this very strange time. We have a new normal to embrace for the time being and we are here to help in any way we can. Here is a roundup of some amazing resources to give you a hand. Whether you are trying to keep your kids learning, or just need to take a little break and want to keep them busy for a time, here are some great ways to engage the kids in ways that are fun!
From ABCs to ACTs

Scholastic
Scholastic launched a new “Learn At Home” Website that offers day-by-day projects. There are things for every age range.
Kids Activities Blog
Kids Activities Blog put together a great list of education companies that are offering free subscriptions due to the school closings. This is a very comprehensive list.
Hansen Art Studio
Hansen Art Studio is offering FREE FB Live art classes. They have the supply list up now so you can get your supplies ahead of time. They are located near Seattle and they will be meeting at 10-12 PST on March 18th, 25th, April 1st and 8th. Find out more here:
NESCA
The Neuropsychology and Education Services for Children & Adolescents has some great recommendations on how to structure your day. The balance of screentime with outdoor time and homework is a real struggle. Some of these tips should be very helpful!
Silo & Sage
Silo & Sage has some great inspiration, encouragement and learning printables. While they aren’t free, they are low cost and would be a great way to enhance your learning time. Check it out here:

Museums Across the World
There are museums across the world offering free virtual tours. This is a great addition to learning at home that can provide some interest for your kids!
