Summer Staff at Miracle Ranch

Summer staff members are an integral part of each camper’s experience. Campers and guests will remember the time they spent at CRISTA Camps for years! Our gospel-centered program stresses servant leadership, relationships and teamwork—so each camper and guest can experience an unforgettable time and walk away changed. Summer Staff carries on CRISTA’s mission of “Loving God by Serving People.”

Important Information

Summer staff selection begins in November and continues through the spring. Summer staff will be involved in serving guest groups and putting on our traditional camp programs. Applicants must be eighteen years of age or older and graduated from high school. Some positions require the applicant to have completed at least one year of college or equivalent experience. A servant’s heart and flexibility are key to a successful summer of ministry.

Available Positions & Descriptions

Summer staff positions are within the categories of Leadership Staff, Counseling Staff, Recreation & Program Staff. However, any summer staff may be asked to fill in other areas as needed.

I was on Summer Staff at CRISTA Camps last year. Do I need to apply again?

Yes, you must complete a new application and submit new references each summer.

When do Summer camp sessions begin and end? Arrival and departure time is 3pm.

Do I get any days off?

Every summer staff will get a 24 hour period off each week. Days off will be assigned at the beginning of the session. Any additional time off must be cleared by the Program Leader.

What is the salary?

Currently salaries start at $250 per week plus meal and board at camp.

Where will I be staying while at camp?

On the grounds; location is dependent upon the position.

When/What do I need to apply?

Summer staff selection begins in November, but applications are accepted until all positions are filled. We strongly encourage applicants to submit their applications as soon as possible.

When will I find out if I’m on summer staff?

Applicants are considered for positions after we have received a completed application and the three reference forms. Applicants who apply (application AND references received) before the 15th of the month will hear back by the 30th of that month. Applications received after the 15th will hear back by the 15th of the following month.
