Oscar has spent his entire life in the foster care system. He was even adopted into a family only to be returned to the system a few weeks later.

But God had a plan for Oscar.

His new foster mom sends all of her kids to CRISTA Camps during the summer, and this year, that included Oscar.

During Oscar’s first days at camp he processed his anger and grief, but that week there was a trained therapist and counselor to help care for campers like Oscar who were experiencing deep pain. For Oscar, this week was one of the most transformative of his life.
