Paul is an 18-year-old draft cross who has been at camp for most of his life. He was trained at camp along with three other horses he arrived with: George, John, and Ringo. While his three friends went on to work in other locations, Paul has stayed at camp and become a favorite among many campers and staff! Paul’s large size can be intimidating at first, but he’s a gentle giant once you meet him.

Paul enjoys going on trail rides and spends most of his time taking campers out on walks through the woods. In the past few years however, he has also been used in arena lessons for some of our taller riders. Paul also is one of our therapeutic riding horses and is a great horse for some of our taller and more independent therapy students.
