To know Sweetness is to love her! One look and you will fall in love. We did.

This precious donkey could not have a more fitting name. When our wranglers first met Sweetness, they immediately fell in love with her adorable ears and her sweet personality. Sweetness came to Miracle Ranch in February of 2019.

She lived most of her life with a family who loved her dearly, but when Sweetness’ pasture mate passed away, her family knew she would be lonely without a friend, so they reached out to us to see if we had a spot for her. At the same time, one of our two panda cows at Miracle Ranch had just passed away and we were worried that our remaining cow, Bridget, would be lonely. So, our horsemanship director decided to take in Sweetness and see if Bridget and she could bond and keep one another company. For two weeks, Sweetness and Bridget mostly stood at opposite ends of the pasture and tolerated one another. By the third week, they began sharing food and standing next to one another. Within a month, they became inseparable.

Most evenings if you drive past Miracle Ranch, you can see Sweetness standing guard by the road, in the corner of her pasture.
